What is Strandmeisje about and how can we collaborate?
As Strandmeisje, meaning ‘beach girl’, I explore sunny destinations around the world to showcase how accessible they are (not every tropical destination costs a fortune!) and how much they have to offer. A beach vacation isn’t just about lying on a sunbed and doing nothing; the world has so much more to explore!

Some ideas to work together
Strandmeisje originally started as a blog full of travel stories. Later, it expanded to include online content on TikTok and Pinterest. I made a very deliberate choice to focus on these two platforms; as an experienced marketer, I know exactly what I’m doing.

Press trips often result in the best content, which makes perfect sense. This is because I experience everything firsthand and can create my own unique content. I’m very flexible in this and enjoy brainstorming ideas together. The final deliverables will, of course, reflect the scope and scale of the press trip.

About me: Who is Rianne?
A twenty-something who earned her Tourism Management degree about 10 years ago. Since then, I’ve been sharing my travel stories in as many ways as possible—and it’s even become my job. “Always on the road, but rather on the beach” is my motto. I’m also the sporty spice of the family and, perhaps unsurprisingly, a true summer person.
About me: experienced marketer
I’m not just someone who started a travel blog. For over 8 years, I’ve been working with love and passion in the travel industry—the best industry there is! I’ve had the pleasure of working with many great brands, such as Sunny Cars, Thomas Cook, and Center Parcs.
I apply all my marketing experience to Strandmeisje. I know how SEO works (even after all those updates), the Instagram algorithm, and I understand how destinations and PR agencies operate.
About me: authenticity
The competition in the travel blogging world is fierce. And to be honest, it’s sometimes really hard to stand out. That’s why I do my best to work as authentically and sustainably as possible.
I don’t aim for the perfect picture. I capture destinations, products, and services as they truly are, so that readers have the right expectations. I want to help (future) travelers, not entice them with something that doesn’t exist.
My gear
I always have a Samsung S24 and a Sony A6000 with various lenses. You’ll also often find my DJI Mini 2 and Insta360 in my suitcase!
